This class builds strength and stamina in the body with an emphasis on the core muscles. Core strength is about building strength and stability on the inside and having the control and support to engage in whatever other activities you like to do. A strong core can also help prevent strain or injury and alleviate back pain. You will move through a series of standing and seated postures with some challenging pose options.

Relax and Restore

Yoga Nidra

"Would thoroughly recommend you try this guided meditation - takes you to a place of semi consciousness. Relaxing & rejuvenating. Ideal as a stand alone practice or to complement other forms of yoga. I was a bit dubious before I tried it, but now I’m hooked." Sara A.

Dates and times vary

In this 90 minute class we will practice a combination of yin and restorative postures followed by yoga nidra. A slower, mat-based practice using lots of props to support the body, finishing with a long, deep relaxation to completely recharge the body and the mind.
To rest, relax and restore is essential to our well-being, particularly in today's hectic, stressful lives. To rest deeply is to experience absolute relaxation - effortless stillness, quietness and peace.

£18 per class

Yoga Nidra (or yogic sleep) is a powerful meditation technique. It is also one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain as you simply rest and listen to my voice, whilst you lie in savasana or sit in a relaxed and comfortable seated or reclined position. You are then guided though a systematic meditation, enabling you to release stress and tension and encourage complete relaxation of the body and mind.

Private Tuition

1:1 Instruction

1:1 tuition is a great way to learn yoga, whether you’re a complete beginner looking to develop your practice, recovering from an injury or simply a bit nervous about joining a general class. You will learn suitable alignment for your specific body type, deepen your understanding of yogic breathing and practice various meditation techniques.

Depending on your individual goals, as you progress you may be confident to join a general class, start to practice more intermediate postures or maybe learn the quieter styles of yoga such as yin yoga and yoga nidra.
