Terms and Conditions

Workshops and Day Retreats

For events that are a full day or less, then full payment is required at time of booking to secure your place. If you cancel with more than 14 days notice in then a full refund will be given. Cancellation of 14 days or less – no refund, credit or alternative will be given. You may be able to send a substitute in your place, but only if this is first agreed by Cactus Yoga.

Retreat Cancellation Policy

 If for any reason you cannot attend the retreat Cactus Yoga will do it’s best to fill your place and fully refund you, minus the deposit of £75. Please note this is not a guarantee and if your place cannot be filled the following cancellation fees apply:

Less than 30 days from start date of retreat - No refund (unless Cactus Yoga or yourself can sell your space)

Between 30-60 days from start date of retreat - 50% refund (minus deposit)

More than 60 days from start date of retreat - 100% refund (minus deposit)

If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date Cactus Yoga reserves the right to cancel the reservation, retain the deposit and transfer your place on the retreat to another person.

If Cactus Yoga chooses to cancel an event then all monies paid to Cactus Yoga will be refunded. In this circumstance Cactus Yoga will not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the participant, including but not limited to travel costs, insurance costs etc.

Cactus Yoga reserves the right to send a substitute teacher in the place of a named teacher if unexpected circumstances preventing the named teacher from teaching on any event.

In the event of Force Majeure/unforeseen circumstances that hinders, delays, or leads to cancellation of any events Cactus Yoga will not be liable for any costs incurred or to repay any monies received. Participants will be expected to claim under their individual insurance. This includes but is not limited to, severe weather, acts of terrorism, disease epidemics, government actions, natural disasters, war, strikes, and failure of 3rd parties such as venues/caterers to provide their services.

Health

Non-disclosure of relevant health information, whether physical or psychiatric, can invalidate your insurance. You should in any case inform Cactus Yoga of any health issues prior to booking.
In order to avoid injury I ask that you agree to follow all instructions given to you as to when, where and how to perform and not to perform the yoga, it being understood that any deviation by you from such instructions shall be at your own risk. Students must listen to their own bodies and work within their own limitations. If any movements hurt or are uncomfortable, it is your responsibility to never take any exercise to a level of discomfort or pain.
Cactus Yoga will not be held responsible for any injuries suffered, caused in whole or in part by failure to follow instructions.

Insurance

Cactus Yoga strongly recommends that you take out insurance to cover your costs in the event that you have to cancel or curtail your retreat and are not due a refund in terms of the above policy.
